Mid Century Modern Kitchen Remodel

Our customers were looking for a home in the Hinsdale, IL area. We narrowed it down to a few options with this one as standing out the most because of the potential small kitchen remodel and floor refinishing that would make it a diamond home. Prior to closing on the home, our buyers and us were able to fine-tune the scope of work to start as soon as they closed on the home.

The kitchen remodel consisted of: modifying the island; refinishing the kitchen cabinets in Benjamin Moore Ocean Floor; installing new Quartz countertops; new sink and faucet; new backsplash; and replacing an upper cabinet with some floating knotty alder shelves.

We then tied the kitchen in with the eat-in area with a matching knotty alder floating bench seat. Special thanks to Wheatland Custom Cabinetry & Woodwork for the kitchen cabinetry refinishing and modifications and the corner bench.

Floor Refinishing

Our customers were looking for a modern touch to their oak floors. We created a beach-like and modern stain to refinish their floors in. We also removed the staircase carpet and installed new treads and risers to refinish for that complete modern look.
