Western Springs meets Restoration Cape
There are many great things about the western Chicago suburbs, but in particular, the enormous possibility in home renovations. Our recent project was a whole house renovation in Western Springs where our client was looking to expand and update their 1,800 sq. ft. house.
Brent Hyland from Hyland Homes took this outdated quaint house in Western Springs to a whopping 2,500+ sq. ft. home. This gave the clients the much needed space and style that Western Springs is now thriving in.
The kitchen was completely overhauled and expanded to include an over-sized island with seating, angelic lighting, and apron front sink. It is now open to the living room and a quick walk to the formal dining room that is semi-enclosed with an arched entryway, wainscoting, and lit custom liquor cabinetry.

Hyland Homes then “raised the roof” to accommodate a newly created master bedroom and bathroom, complete with walk-in-shower, dual vanities, and eclectic exposed beams in the master bedroom.
The surprises don’t end there! Dual wall-sinks and wainscoting in the kids’ bathroom, which flanks the other side of the circular hall and accommodates the three upstairs kids’ bedrooms.
