Cozy, cute, and perfect.
Downsizing can be a tricky situation—most times you’re looking to downsize into a condo or townhouse, which was initially the case in this situation until this well-maintained ranch sprung up on the market and in the price range for our clients. With every new property, there is always something to update, unless you’re building new of course. This house in beautiful Clarendon Hills included a newly updated kitchen, and hardwood floors throughout, but was in need of a little TLC in the basement and master bathroom.
Master bathroom included:
- Skylight to bring in some much needed natural light
- New linen and vanity cabinetry
- 6′ Jacuzzi
- Carrera marble tile throughout
The large basement previously included a 70-ish bar area and “half” of a half bath. In the bathroom we installed SoHo brick tile on the bathroom floor and porcelain planks to mimic hardwood in the shower, including herringbone patterned insets. We also installed new flooring throughout the rest of the basement and painted the exposed ceiling to give this a nice updated, clean look.
