Our Process
Getting to Know Each Other
One of the first things to do (and the most valuable to establish a foundation) is to get to know each other. We want to get to know you—your style, expectations for the project, your budget, problem you’re trying to solve. Just like us getting to know you, we want you to get to know us! Our ultimate goal is to value engineer your project to your budget and deliver services that exceed your expectations.
Designing and Estimating
Once we have a clear idea on scope, style, and budget we go to work on designing your new space, from where to move a toilet, to getting architectural plans for your addition. From then, we go about putting some rough estimates together based on estimated material and labor, and designed finishes.
Contract and Demo
Up until this point usually our clients are ready to pull the trigger and get started swinging hammers. But before that happens, we want to make sure we are both clear on the scope of work and that is with a contract detailing scope, timeline, and payment schedule. Once all details are signed off on we begin with site prep and demolition.
Nuts and Bolts
We all know things could change in a project—maybe you decide to add another bathroom remodel to the mix or there are unforeseen costs in a wall that needs to be demoed, rest assured that we are there to make sure the project continues in the most seamless way possible despite hiccups.
Finishing Touches
At Hyland Homes, we are there until the very end. Our success is solely dependent on your satisfaction of the project and we will continue to check back in once the project is complete. Once you are a client, you are a lifelong member of the Hyland Homes family.
Design to Build
Design to build means exactly what it says. We are in the trenches designing and creating your spaces right from the get-go. We are out there from picking out tile and finishes, to hanging the last light fixture. We do it all and can’t wait to get started on your project.
